We where searching for a boat to cross the north sea and reach Ireland, when we did come across one we found thousands, but they where all a wreck. "not a single boat that can be actually used,we are stuck here now we are gonna die," I groaned, as well as Wyatt, I was going to feed myself to the living dead... Yes, this is a nightmare, but this one is true...

As soon as we got back to the farm, Ben and Brenda came running toward us. Ben gave me a look and asked,"Well? what did you find little girly?" I gave him a threatening look and replied "Nothing much, just a bunch of wrecks. Now if you excuse me..."

I slouched onto the old chair I seem to fall asleep on, I dont like the bed, its rough and dusty. When i turned around, I saw something creepy. Not a lurker, but a stranger... It was a girl, quite tall with ebony hair that stopped in the middle of the back, furthermore she had red glasses which was hung off the bridge of her nose.

Over her plain, black shirt the woman had a white scientist jacket with a couple of blood stains covering it. she wore jeans that seemed far too big on her and had a belt with a gun attached to it.She did not look tough, but was she?

"Let me introduce myself, my name is Elisa, a local scientist from London, I bet i can guess your name." She gave me a smile and said my name, "Your Jillian, aren't you?" This made me gasp "H-how do you know?" I reached for my pistol and aimed it at her.

"Don't do that! I know because, I met a man named Ken," She was trembling, she wasn't very tough at all. She began blabbering on about random stuff and rubbish that i couldn't understand. Then she revealed how she met Ken,

"We found him held up in an old restaurant, I think he was drunk but he told us all about you and your group, and how you was there for him when he saw his family as one of them things, he is with us now, he is safe." I dropped my gun.

Elisa turned around but as she started to leave I gripped her arm firmly and asked if she could come and tell all of this to the group.

"Ken? Held up? I don't believe that!" Ivy giggled, she was the leader of our group and she told me that I was going to be next since Ken had disappeared. "Jillian, did you know about this," Carl whispered. I replied with, "Not long... I missed Ken, we are the only ones..."

Brenda walked up to me, "Maybe it will be better if you tell us darlin' my mama told me it ain't good to keep these sorta things bottled in." I took a deep sigh, I forgotten to tell them... Maybe it was time for me to let it out, I began the story,

"When all this started four years ago, I met a lady who looked after me, we met up with other survivors. Her name was Janet, she taught me to be strong, how to use a gun, even how to kill a lurker without a gun... She died trying to save me from a shoot down with a gang."

I continued "It is all a blur, but i remember her dying. It wasn't in vain, I hope, but she died through attack from scavengers armed with daggers and shotguns... One of them was trying to kill a lurker but it was going to hit me, Janet pushed me out of the way and... She got shot in the heart. I remember her turning into a lurker. Her eyes where red and blood tricked from her chest. It was. So horrible."
