Two reasons: Firstly, it means you know anyone posting here isn't misrepresenting anything - they definitely have the skills they appear to be showing off. Secondly, it saves us flak from the real artists when people inevitably steal works - because virtually no art on the internet is freely usable... so we'd have to honour takedown requests anyway.

Because no one should ever be allowed to claim credit for another person's hard work. It is immensely rude, deceitful and on the whole behaviour that I, as an artist, would personally execute people for with glee.

The Creative Corner is for uploading art you've created yourself and sharing it with the world. If others wish to share their work, they may do so. If they don't, you are not allowed to make that decision for them or harvest likes and acclaim that you don't deserve by uploading their stuff.
