My favorite generation is the 3rd , but I grew up with gen 4 (my first pokemon game was heartgold)

I remember how I started out:
My best friend, Thomas, got me heartgold for my 9th birthday (he also got me a 3DS), he told me how to play, then I started, the intro..., and then I chose my starter, since I liked playing in the water, I chose tododile, I named him Krokker (After the shoe brand), and then we started......

I got my ruby by finding it on the ground on the side walk when I was 7. I wasn't into pokemon, so it sat on my bookshelf for 2 years. then my little brother borrowed sapphire from his friend (which he still hasn't given back after 4 years) so I played mine and LOVED it.
