May set out on her journey to make her own name for herself. She deeply despised being nicknamed Birch's Daughter. When she was 10, she left home with her pokemon mudkip and set out to be the very best at whatever it was. She soon fell in love with pokemon contests. Within 5 years, she made it to the very top and was nicknamed Hoenn's Princess. She was an excellent trainer and even better coordinator. May went to travel other regions, participating in other contests around the world becoming number one while filling out her fathers pokedex as well.
